early 1920's original american four-legged riveted and welded joint stationary factory machine shop work stool designed and fabricated by the angle steel company, otsego, mi. the machinist's stool has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the base contains a multitude of horizontal riveted joint stretchers for added support and stability. the inward turned "ball" feet are a distinctive characteristic of angle steel stools. the original solid male wood seat has been refinished and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. great overall condition, considering age. measures approximately 14 x 14 x 24 1/2 inches with a 14 inch seat diameter.
