early 1930's american art deco flush mount illuminated streamlined style exit light designed and fabricated by or for the atlas electrical products company, brooklyn, ny. the ceiling-mount fixture is double-sided, with two matching lightly etched glass panels perfectly intact and free from cracks or breaks. the machine age fixture is illuminated with two opposed incandescent light sockets with original wiring. the "can" sign is comprised of pressed and folded steel with a uniform baked metallic silver enameled finish. the interior exit light was salvaged from a chicago area apartment building. only one available. measures 16 x 3 1/2 x 6 1/2 inches.
