largely intact and well-maintained early 20th century antique american interior residential solid oak wood wall-mount pier mirror designed and fabricated by the peerless mantel works, chicago, il. the upright pier mirror contains a mostly uniform golden oak stained finish with light surface wear consistent with age. the original tall and narrow rectangular-shaped mirror with beveled edges remains in great overall condition. the two flanking pilasters contain highly ornamented ionic style gesso capitals with volutes. the pier mirror was salvaged from a chicago two-flat residence undergoing demolition. 39" W x 86" H x 4" D.
