mixed lot of matching (i.e., style and shape) early 20th century circular-shaped yellow brass la salle hotel coat check tags, possibly used in the famous palm room or restaurant. the heavy brass coat check tags were brought to us with a large lot of guestroom door hardware, elevator components and terra cotta ornament. each round tag contains a fanciful lightly incised number with original baked black enameled inlay for added contrast or visibility. the tags contain a nicely aged surface patina throughout. the c. 1909-20 hotel tags are priced as an entire lot.
