visually striking intact american art moderne late 1920's interior five-light ceiling fixture fabricated by or for the lightolier corp., jeannette, pennsylvania. the machine age electric fixture is comprised largely of yellow brass with chrome plated finish largely intact. the futuristic fixture contains maroon enameled cast iron "speed rings" found between the protruding arms. the flared top shade fitters are accentuated with segmented ventilated rings and ball finials. the keyless leviton sockets are nestled within the fitters. the stepped horn-shaped tiers conceal the central pipe containing the cord. the finial features an encircled ball finial cast in iron with original maroon paint finish. original chromed steel chain and deep bowl canopy intact. the five shallow bowl drop shades are simple, yet elegant, and compliment the fixture nicely. measures 20 x 22 inches.
