original american c. 1940's industrial city of chicago "l" maintenance department shop cart comprised of heavy gauge all-welded joint angled steel. the four-legged stationary workstation contains a newly added varnished pine wood inset table top and matching undershelf for additional storage. the square-shaped feet, which provide added support and stability, are comprised of solid steel plates welded to the angled metal legs. the work stand has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. measures approximately 30 x 16 x 29 inches.
