all original early 1940's vintage american industrial folded and pressed steel five tier shelving unit salvaged from a tool & die factory. the freestanding supply rack was fabricated by the lyon metallic mfg. co., aurora, il. the factory machine shop storage rack contains five graduating shelves supported by angled steel uprights and cross-bracing. the shelving unit has been thoroughly cleaned and brushed down to bare metal. a clear coat lacquer has been applied as a surface sealant. measures 36 x 18 x 61 inches.
