vintage american industrial stationary workbench with a tightly affixed, rock hard maple wood tabletop. possibly fabricated around 1948-51 by the lyon metallic mfg. co., aurora, il. the structurally sound workstation contains heavy gauge c-channel steel legs with welded joint floor plates containing pre-drilled holes for anchoring into the floor. the opposed angled steel stretchers provide added support. exterior brushed metal finish treated with a clear coat lacquer. measures 36 x 30 x 34 inches.
