very clean and solidly constructed late 19th or early 20th century antique american industrial stationary wood shop lathe machine base likely designed and fabricated by the whiton machine company, new london, conn. the ornamental cast iron machine base has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the robust base makes for an ideal repurposed table. note: the tabletop shown in the listing is for display purposes only and is not included with the base. measures 22 1/2 x 18 1/2 x 27 1/2 inches.
