pair of unusual all original antique american industrial refinished cast iron low-lying table or machine x-shaped stretchers or bases possibly used in for supporting an unidentified machine. the two curvaceous iron supports are identical from top to bottom with protruding edges or l-shaped brackets containing pre--drilled holes for mounting purposes. the durable lightweight bases have been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the exact fabricator is not known. the bases were discovered in a factory machine shop storage closet. priced for the pair. measures 16 x 1 1/2 x 19 1/2 inches.
