single early 20th century original and completely intact american arts & crafts style single interior electric wall sconce attributed to the stickley brothers (albert & john george stickley) company, grand rapids, mi. the hand-wrought and riveted joint brass wall bracket or arm and flush mount backplate are fashioned in a simple and stylized floral or hear-shaped motif. the timeworn darkened surface patina has been left undisturbed. the rectangular-shaped brass socket enclosure and/or shade fitter with peddled flower retains the original bryant shell socket with paddle or key switch. the fixture has been rewired with period appropriate brown cloth lamp cord. the flat leaded art glass reflector consists of a simple yet elegant rectilinear grid containing a combination of green and caramel slag glass panels enclosed within zinc caming.
