original set of very fanciful french second empire or baroque revival c. 1920's interior wall sconces removed from a chicago residence. the intensely ornate two arm electric candle fixtures are made of cast aluminum with original metallic antique gold finish. the candle slip covers are original with typical wear consistent with age. manufacturer unknown. very impressive and delicate filigree with a classic rope border and flame finial. the candle base consists of a lotus leaf motif. measures 13 1/2 inches in height with a spread of 10 inches. priced for the pair.
