original early 20th century antique american ornamental cast brass spanish revival style double arm wall sconce attributed to the j.c. virden co., cleveland, oh. the elegantly designed "electric candle" wall sconce features detailed leafage, foliated scrollwork and floral rosettes. nicely aged surface patina with original baked black enameled accents intact. the newly added "dripping wax" candle sleeves are period appropriate. the antique candelabra wall sconce was salvaged from the chicago athletic association building annex. only one available. measures approximately 9 x 24 inches and sits roughly 4 inches from the wall.
