c. 1900's vintage american industrial fanciful cast iron graphotype machine table base attributed to the united states graphotype company, new york city, ny. the structurally sound and solid table base has been repurposed into a muli-purpose stationary side table or desk with the addition of a solid rock hard maple wood tabletop. the base consists of two curvaceous legs held together by a bolted stretcher. the ironwork has been thoroughly refinished and treated with a clear coat lacquer. the maple top is tightly affixed to the base. measures 24 x 20 x 27 inches.
