original diminutive late 19th or early 20th century heavy cast bronze single-sided cast bronze interior new york city hotel lobby elevator floor indicator plaque or dial designed and fabricated by the helca iron works, brooklyn, ny. the manhattan hotel elevator plaque contains a nicely aged surface patina throughout. the original cast yellow brass numbers are detachable from the dial. the centrally located deeply grooved fan rosette contains an opening where the indicator arrow was mounted. the wall-mount dial was located directly above the elevator door. only one available. measures 9 1/2 inches in diameter x 2 1/2 inches wide.
