completely intact american industrial late 1920's factory machine shop trash can comprised of reinforced corrugated steel with original opposed handles and rolled rim lid that seals tightly into place. the trash can was later used as a veterinary clinic bird seed barrel in the 1950's. the name "doc jones" is found on the sides and lid in the form of black stenciled lettering. the waste can has been lightly cleaned and sealed inside and out. the dirty rag factory machine shop waste can likely was fabricated by the witt cornice co., cincinnati, oh.
