well-maintained original wall-mount varnished maple wood pharmacy display cabinet designed and fabricated by the waddell company, inc., greenfield, oh., founded in 1887 by john m. waddell. the lightweight display cabinet retains the original thick plate glass sliding doors with slightly recessed handles. the original thick glass shelves with elegant rolled rim edges are in great shape. the steel rod bracket used to support the shelves are original and structurally sound. the cabinet frame is comprised of solid maple wood with the original lightly stained finish. the display case contains two opposed sidelights consisting of clear glass. the top and bottom are equipped with clear cut glass panels. the shelves are fully adjustable. the original decal identifying the manufacturer is found under the plate glass top. the pressed and/or stamped hanger for mounting flush against the wall are original and intact.
