pair of finely crafted c. 1950's vintage american industrial "safe-t-stak" repurposed stationary side tables or nightstands. the brushed folded and pressed steel double-drawer filing cabinets were fabricated by diebold inc., canton, oh. each sliding drawer contains an elongated oval-shaped bent steel rod drop handle and protruding slot for placard or label. the brushed steel cabinets contain newly added custom-built tabletops comprised of varnished old growth pine wood. the unique pyramidal-shaped four-legged bases are tightly affixed to the underside of each cabinet. the matching industrial side tables have been thoroughly cleaned and refinished. measure 24 x 11 x 23 inches. priced for the pair.
