pair of c. 1920's vintage american industrial cast iron pipe stock rack bases possibly fabricated by the brown engineering co., reading, pa. the matching iron bases exhibit a most unusual design profile. the remarkably heavy bases have been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the cylindrical-shaped tops are threaded for one inch steel pipe. the tapered bases contain opposing feet containing pre-drilled holes for anchoring into the floor. measure 16 x 4 x 25 1/2 inches. priced for the pair.
