original and largely intact c. 1920's vintage medical freestanding floor lamp manufactured by sperti faraday inc., hoboken, new jersey. the weighted pedestal base is comprised of cast iron with original black enameled finish intact. the tubular steel extension member contains a chrome finish. the mechanical linkages that adjust the angle and tilt of the reflector and/or arm are intact. the large rolled rim spun aluminum reflector contains the original standard size ceramic incandescent light bulb socket within. completely rewired with period appropriate rayon cloth cord.
