original and very unique c. 1940's single-sided city of chicago "bus route" circular sign with centrally located directional arrow. the sign was originally mounted against a freestanding sign pole. original enameled finish largely intact. comprised of heavy gauge die cut steel with two pre-drilled holes for mounting purposes. measures 14 3/4 inches in diameter.
