remarkably heavy all original late 1940's vintage american industrial mobile tool and parts storage cabinet designed and fabricated by the aurora metal products co., aurora, il. the "equipto" cabinet contains a unique storage configuration, with two sliding drawers a bottom cabinet and a fully enclosed and lockable top compartment. the exterior of the cold-rolled steel cabinet has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the spacious interior retain the original old weathered and worn cherry red and "factory green" paint finish. the hinged top contains a pivoting bracket to hold the top at a fixed angled position. the hasps and handles are original and intact. the heavy gauge folded and pressed steel storage cabinet is structurally sound and stable. salvaged from a factory specializing in the fabrication of parts for the aerospace industry. measures 18 1/4 x 24 1/4 x 33 inches.
