original and seldom found c. 1930's vintage american made industrial "ever-hold" stationary factory stool designed and patented by edward j. leech. the stool contains a weighted cast iron four-legged base, supporting a telescoping tubular steel rod with unusual angular footrest. the contoured birch wood seat and backrest are original and intact. the stool was fabricated by the kewaunee mfg. co., adrian, mi. entirely refinished and sealed with a clear coat lacquer.
