refinished antique american industrial four-legged factory machine shop stationary stool designed and fabricated by the angle steel stool company, plainwell, mich. the brushed metal stool contains a plurality of riveted joint stretchers for added support and rigidity. the distinctive inward-turned ball feet provided added stability. the bare metal has been sealed with a clear coat lacquer to prevent surface corrosion. the circular-shaped pressed and folded seat remains in great overall condition. the stool was salvaged from a chicago factory specializing in manufacturing twine. base measures 14 inches x 14 inches. seat diameter measures 12 3/4 inches. seat height measures 27 3/4 inches.
