original and intact vintage american industrial salvaged chicago pressed and folded steel factory machine shop mobile tool cart designed and fanbricated by the aurora metal products company, aurora, ills. the shop cabinet was salvaged from the zim mfg. company factory. founded in 1919, the zim manufacturing company specialized in the manufacture of automobile specialty tools and gauges, housewares, and other hand tools. the extant factory is located on the far west side of chicago. the gunship gray enameled metal cart features two tiers with raised edges. a multi-drawer "equipto" cabinet was added to the underside. the stationary and swivel bassick casters are original and intact. 30 x 15 x 36 inches
