largely intact c. 1885-89 original american victorian era salvaged chicago residential oversized stained glass transom window removed from a chicago three-flat demolished long ago. the brightly colored variegated glass arch top window features a multitude of geometric shapes, accentuated with jewels (note the large centrally located blue glass roundel). the window is comprised entirely of solid color cathedral roll glass with original lead caming. the pine wood sash frame with old white paint is structurally sound and secure. likely fabricated by mccully & miles, chicago, ills. measures 19 3/4 x 79 3/4 inches.
