two matching 19th century antique american eastlake style interior residential "bamboo" pattern keyhole escutcheons designed and fabricated by branford lock works, branford, ct. the c. 1885 keyplates are comprised of cast brass with a dark metallic bronze inlay used to accentuate the casting detail. the identical keyplates were salvaged from the david c. cook mansion, located in elgin, il. this style or pattern was found throughout the second floor passage and/or closet doors. measure approximately 2 x 1 inches. priced for the pair.
