original antique american industrial "national" type portable trouble and/or drop light designed and fabricated by the mcgill mfg. co., valprasio, ind. the handheld trouble light contains a finely turned maple wood handle with reinforced solid steel cage with sheet steel heat shield and/or reflector. the fully enclosed "trouble cage" features a bent steel hook for hangng virtually anywhere where light is needed. the old industrial lamp was rewired with period appropriate braided white lamp cord.
