original c. 1920's antique american medical stationary four-legged interior hospital operating room "prep" side table designed and fabricated by the feick brothers co., pittsburgh, pa. the strong and sturdy operating room furniture piece likely contained bassick swivel casters at one point for mobility purposes. the nice-sized medical table is comprised of heavy gauge cold-rolled pressed and folded steel with riveted joints. the spacious tabletop and undershelf are in good overall condition. the flared our outswept legs provide added stability. the well-constructed hospital work station was salvaged from an old asylum located in ohio. the brushed and sanded bare metal finish has been sealed with a clear coat lacquer. measures 37 x 19 x 34 inches.
