single c. 1930's american antique industrial original and intact single electric light pendant fixture designed and fabricated in part by the benjamin electric mfg. co., chicago, ill. the fixture contains a brushed conical steel shade with steel fitter containing the original set screws. the oversized white glazed porcelain socket is in good shape, considering age. the original heavily insulated rubber lamp cord and pressed steel canopy are original to the pendant light. the industrial light fixture was salvaged from a basement machine shop in the old wrigley chewing gum factory shortly before it was demolished.
