two matching early 20th century antique american arched cast iron diminutive residential basement soapstone sink bases repurposed into a stationary coffee table or bench. the set of refinished cast iron bases were patented by edward j. korman, and manufactured by the weil brothers company. the brushed metal finish has been sealed with a clear coat lacquer to prevent surface corrosion. the newly added thick old growth pine wood tabletop has been planed, sanded and sealed. the wood top is tightly affixed to the cast iron bases. 50 3/4 inches x 20 1/4 inches x 18.5 inches.
