two original c. 1900's antique american ornamental cast bronze interior oversized pocket door handles, possibly fabricated by p. & f. corbin or the russell & erwin mfg. company. the matching gothic style escutcheons feature a highly detailed double-headed eagle, an eight-pointed star or "gnostic" symbol, intricate scrollwork and clusters of crockets. the deeply recessed elongated "cup" handles contain skeleton keyholes. possibly used in a masonic lodge or residential setting. nicely aged surface patina. measure 13 x 2 3/4 inches. priced for the pair.
