matching oversized c. 1880's original and intact heavily ornamented cast bronze "ivy" pattern interior residential pocket door backplates or escutcheons with deeply recessed cup handles. the two bronze metal backplates were designed and fabricated by branford lock works, branford, ct. traces of the original baked black enameled inlay used to accentuate the casting detail are found in the field pattern. the two pocket door plates are in great overall condition.
