vintage "folkart" industrial custom-built heavy gauge tubular steel fur-legged sitting chair pulled from a chicago twine factory machine shop break area. the charming yet crudely assembled chair contains an archtop backrest with two welded joint "slats." the seat is comprised of heavily reinforced thick coiled metal mesh spot welded against the surrounding tubular frame. the four tubular legs are structurally sound and stable. the chair has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer.
