late 1940's american vintage industrial cold-rolled furniture sheet steel freestanding storage cabinet salvaged from a chicago tool & die factory. the exact fabricator is not known. contains a brushed metal surface treated with a clear coat lacquer. the barrel-hinged single cabinet door is equipped with a recessed "cup" handle and cylindrical brass lock. the sides are louvered at the very top. the base contains a welded joint panel with diamond steel mesh. measures 42 x 18 x 11 inches.
