original c. 1900's sound and stable american antique industrial four-legged stationary draftsman stool designed and fabricated by the johnson chair company, chicago, il. the adjustable height stool contains a slightly flared four-legged oak wood base reinforced with a plurality of turned and tapered stretchers. the cast iron craddle supporting the solid steel threaded spindle has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the revolving seat top is comprised of solid birch wood. base measures 13 1/2 x 13 1/2 inches, seat diameter measures 13 inches, adjustable height ranges from 25 3/4 - 32 inches.
