original c. 1855-59 aqua and/or teal blue antique american iron pontiled soda or mineral water bottle manufactured for c. lomax in chicago, il. the body has a long tapered neck, sloping shoulders and applied blob top. raised block lettering reading "c. lomax" and "chicago" are embossed in the center of the bottle. the bottle features typical crudities like bubbles in the body and some slight asymmetry. the base is deeply rounded and features a domed kick up.
