19th century antique american original and intact commercial store door thumblatch rabbeted mortise lock with ornamental faceplate consisting primarily of slightly raised geometric shapes. the latch and dead bolts are original and made of cast bronze. the cast iron lock box remains in great shape. measures approximately 6 3/4 x 1 x 3 inches.
