very clean and well-built c. 1930's american industrial heavy gauge pressed and folded steel multi-drawer storage cabinet designed and fabricated by the lyon metallic mfg. co., aurora, ill. the freestanding cabinet was salvaged from a notable chicago foundry undergoing demolition. the cabinet retains the original heavy duty drawers with opposed handles and centrally located label or placard holders. the heavily compartmentalized cabinet has been brushed down to bare steel and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. great overall condition. measures 24 x 12 x 26 inches.
