late 1940's original american industrial pressed and folded four-legged steel stationary stool possibly fabricated by the lyon metallic mfg. co., aurora, il. the modified stool contains two galvanized steel undershelves for support and additional storage space. the slightly flared angled steel legs are structurally sound and stable. the old green paint finish remains mostly intact. measures approximately 12 x 12 x 24 1/2 inches with a seat diameter of 10 1/2 inches.
