original early 1940's american industrial cold-rolled heavy gauge steel chicago hospital examination room supply cabinet designed and fabricated by the shampaine co., st. louis, mo. the reinforced all-metal cabinet originally contained a sterile white enameled finish. the original manufacturer's label is found along the interior side of the hinged cabinet door. the single sliding drawer and cabinet door retain the original pressed steel handles and/or knob pulls. the low-lying ogee style feet are outfitted with operable hardened rubber "bassick" swivel casters. the brushed metal finish has been sealed with a clear coat lacquer. great overall condition. 16 x 20 x 32"
