fully functional american vintage medical hospital examination room "ajusco" floor lamp designed and manufactured by the adjustable light fixture co., milwaukee, wisc. the freestanding light fixture contains a weighted circular-shaped cast iron base with a combination stationary and extension pole or rod for height adjustment. the chrome-plated steel has been well-maintained over the decades. the pole is affixed to an adjustable steel coil gooseneck arm with original lightweight brushed aluminum shade with rolled rim. the push button "ajusco-loc" socket is original and in excellent working condition. the base measures approximately 10 inches in diameter. the shade measures approximately 8 inches in diameter. the height ranges from approximately 42 - 62 inches.
