highly collectible c. 1920 russell and erwin manufacturing company's "catalogue of hardware" volume 11 remains completely intact featuring a compilation of door hardware, hinges, hooks, casters, and garage door set designs popular in the early 20th century. page after page contains exquisitely detailed illustrations and carefully drafted design specifications with prices. the catalog's softcover has some minor wear around the corners and shows a bit of discoloration but still showcases the trademarked "russwin" trade-mark registered in 1877 and established over twenty years before. the interior remains completely intact and would be a great addition to a vintage hardware collector's library. established in 1846, russell & erwin manufacturing company of new britain, connecticut, created some of the most innovative hardware designs of the victorian era, including the highly collectible "doggie doorknob" and a sought-after line of door hardware ornamented with a geisha.
