original and highly sought after c. 1930's antique american exterior residential wall mount "visible" pressed glass transparent mailbox. the lightly tinted green glass-body features the words "visible" and "mail" in the form of lightly embossed lettering along the front of the box. the original aluminum fittings are original and intact. the old padlock can be removed if need be. the mailbox was fabricated by the holton company, chicago, il. measures 5 x 3 x 12 inches.
