impressive late 19th or early 20th century antique american ornamental cast bronze flush mount "push" downtown chicago commercial building handle possibly fabricated by p. & f. corbin or the russell & erwin mfg. co., new britain, ct. the oversized entrance door handle contains a nicely aged and mostly uniform surface patina. the handle contains lightly incised letters with the original baked black enameled inlay partially intact. the top and bottom finials are simple, yet elegant. the store door handle contains a total of six matching holes for mounting purposes. measures 9 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 inches.
