unusual c. 1920's american industrial two-drawer mobile storage cabinet fabricated by the lyon metallic mfg. co., plainwell, mi. the low-lying cabinet is comprised of folded and pressed heavy gauge "furniture" steel with the original green paint finish. the faceted glass drawer pulls were likely added at a later point in time. the angled steel flared legs retain the original swivel casters, comprised of pressed steel. the cabinet contains an open-ended tier with limited clearance between the bottom drawer and folded steel shelf. the interior compartments are spacious and undivided. measures 25 x 17 x 25 1/2 inches.
