pair of identical c. 1920's antique american industrial diminutive high pressure steam valve cast iron bonnets repurposed into portable risers or product display stands. the uniquely-shaped solid iron bonnets were designed and fabricated by the boylston steam specialties company, chicago, il. each bonnet contains a newly added custom built circular-shaped solid maple wood top with a dark stained finish. the bases have been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the diminutive valve component would likely have been used in pressure regulators or pumps. priced for the pair. base diameter measures 6 inches, stand height measures 8 inches, table diameter measures 7 1/4 inches.
