early 1930's all original and well-maintained antique american industrial depression era drake hotel mobile utility cart designed and fabricated by albert pick & company, chicago, ill. the large three-tier cold-rolled steel cart contains three matching pressed and folded metal shelves welded against a tubular steel frame with multiple horizontal support rods. the centrally located casters are stationary (i.e., non-swivel) and the opposed diminutive wheels swivel 360 degrees. the hardened rubber casters with metal forks were likely fabricated by bassick. the nicely aged dark maroon painted finish was lightly cleaned and sealed. great overall condition. measures 49 x 19 x 48 inches.
