matching set of all original and intact ornamental cast bronze late 19th or early 20th century cast bronze residential entrance door hardware designed and fabricated by the p. & f. corbin company, new britain, ct. the lot of hardware consists of an inner and outer entrance door doorknob set with corresponding backplates. the heavily detailed hardware is rich and crisp in design and execution. the nicely aged surface patina has been left untouched. priced for the knobs and matching backplates or escutcheons. larger backplate measures 9 x 2 5/8, and larger doorknob measures 2 3/4 x 2 1/2 inches. smaller backplate measures 6 1/4 x 2 1/8 inches, and smaller doorknob measures 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches.
