original and completely intact early 20th century ornamental cast iron roofline cresting salvaged from a chicago bank building constructed around 1914. the neoclassical style decorative exterior fragment was likely fabricated by the dearborn foundry co., chicago, il. features protruding palmettes flanked by decorative scrolls accentuated with detailed floral rosettes. the symmetrical ironwork has been cleaned from dirt, grime and decades of needless paint jobs.
